The location is beautiful.. The caretakers and the cook are very good...the food was very tasty...enjoyed our stay

There was a rat or squirrel squeaking over our roof all day and night...we ignored it as we knew we were among nature...but it was a bit annoying

Location is very far no facilities are at location . Not suitable for family with kids there is no pool n no other activities for children .food options is very limited there is no starter also not even any other variety options for dinner .

Need to improve your room facilities n also need to improve your food options very very limited options are there . We are gone for celebrating birthday but there is no availability of ice cream also . N cold drink also which is basic thing.

Beautiful, clean, and neat chalet ( wooden house) Great location with a beautiful view of sea. Excellent food and service, special mention of Jahangir for the efforts taken to make sure things are perfect in all aspects 2 minutes walk to reach seaface 2 kilometer drive to reach a white sand beach ( small stretch) completely empty as it is hidden in bushes

1. Misleading photos of the property: There's NO BEACH near the property. There's a wall and a very rusty metal gate that leads to a dusty road and rocks, like a makeshift mini promenade. No sign of a real beach anywhere close. The caretaker informed us that the closest beach was Murud, which was 9 km away. The photos on Booking.com and the SaffronStays website are blatantly outdated and misrepresentative. 2. The menu on the SaffronStays website is misleading. They speak about regional cuisine, and feature seafood on the menu. However, we were told that seafood is an add-on expense, to the Rs. 1400 they charge for food per person per day. This isn't mentioned anywhere. The vegetarian menu, although well-made, is generic and doesn't include any local specialities whatsoever. 3. The property itself is tiny. The photos make it look sprawling and big, which is misrepresentative. There is not a lot to do here. Extremely overpriced for the facilities provided. 4. If you are here looking for a beach-facing property, or even something that is close to a beach, please steer clear of this one. This is definitely NOT a beach-facing or beach-adjacent property. 5. The SaffronStays customer care is appalling. They don't respond to your queries for days. They will assign you to a customer care representative over WhatsApp who will likely not respond to your queries.

The location is very beautiful and you can see the backwater views from your bed. I liked the food and service. The caretaker is helpful and arranges for your needs. Room was clean. I would surely like to visit again provided the electricity and bathroom issues are looked at and made convenient for guests.

Bathroom has no window which makes it very unpleasant. There should be proper ventilation then just an exhaust fan which is placed on the roof. Also the toiletries are not up to the mark the amount the hotel charges which is disappointing. The bathroom overall I didn’t like it is not placed well and needs renovation. During my stay the electricity was cut and midnight and there was no automatic restart which is again disappointing. Around 4am we had to inform the staff and they switched on the generator. The hotel should have these things automated around 1230am the electricity was off and only at 4am when we again woke up due to no fan no ac we had to get the staff to start the generator. The water supplied in the room is not packaged bisleri to similar. There are these plastic bottles which are filled and provided to you from maybe a filter. I found it strange as I was charged 10k for 3 people 1 say room charges + 3k deposit which is refundable but why is it required. The amount this place charges the basic facilities like bathroom toiletries, electricity backup which is automated and also normal packaged water is not a great ask. I request the management to address these issues for making the stay more comfortable.
