The location was amazing for castle Howard and flamingo land. And even went to York for the day.

Nothing. The accommodation was spotless.

Was a lovely looked after home the full stay was great.

I loved how peaceful our stay was and that it was so close to flamingoland for a day out which was great!

Lots of room, good location for Malton and the surrounding area. Lodge very clean.

No WiFi when we arrived. Had to contact the broadband company who eventually got the problem resolved. No duvet for the sofa bed, so it was a bit cold during the night with only a cotton sheet. Issues with the hot tub, which made a loud noise every 15 mins for long periods throughout the day and night. Also level of water was very low, so we couldn't use it on one of the days. Later found out (on the morning we left) that it had been leaking, so maintenance were looking at it as we were leaving. Emergency telephone number only available between 5-8pm for any issues like this. No oven glove, had to use the tea towel provided, which was very thin.

Quite and secures location. Kids absolutely loved it and neighbours were very friendly too.

Probably just the time of year, but there were flies and spiders and had to practically leave the windows closed most of the time. Maybe having a flies spray might have helped.

Wonderful quiet site with lovely neighbours, great base to travel to many locations near by. Lovely hot tub. Lovely staff on site

Wet stained sofa from previous guests (although the wonderful woman from reception came round very quick unfortunately there was not much she would do with it being the sofa cushions and not pillows). Could do with a few more essentials like trays for the oven and cups. Previous guests had hidden dirty cuttlery so the lodge could probably do with a deep clean, and there is a sheared bolt on the double bed which my wife caught her leg on.
