Residencias Arenal

Beautiful location. Not far from town, but not busy. Multiple small restaurants and small markets nearby.

There was a mixup and our reservation got double booked, but they were able to get us taken care of and gave us a small discount.

We had a pleasant stay and location of this property is perfect for tourist and hikers. Very clean, good wifi, full kitchen, and kids enjoyed bunk bed.

We had some problem when host told us that it was double booked and offered another unit. We had to go thru with booking.com customer service but finally owner agreed to provide the unit to us. Owner also did not accept the request to one hour late check out.

The table by the couch is terrible. It is put together with magnets. We were afraid to go near it.

I highly recommend Residencias ARENAL, particularly for groups of travelers. The house we rented was impeccably clean, and the retractable gate was very convenient. After a day of exploring La Fortuna, the swimming pool was a wonderful place to relax. The location is convenient, with downtown La Fortuna and several shops and restaurants within walking distance. The volcano is also visible from the house. The house manager is easy to communicate with.

Convenient location (if you have a car), calm place, well equipped facility and a prompt host.

There were some minor issues like leakage of the bathroom sink or non-functioning lock to the terase (we have informed the host and they let it fix immediately). Still the “Morpho” house deserves to be at least partly re-equipped (new cutlery (knives), more plates/glasses), new beds/mattresses in bunkbed room, (silicone) sealing of the sink etc. Still among the best accommodations in Costa Rica so far ;)

Pretty and nicely decorated villa, kitchen equipoed just enough to prepare meals. Super comfortable beds. Perfect swimming pool. Quiet location and nice staff!

The flush in the toilet did not always work correctly and I see that it was already mentioned in the previous review, so it wasn't fixed. There could be another towel hanger in the bathroom. Besides that, we loved everything.

The air conditioner worked perfectly! The bathroom was beautiful and inviting. Games to play were helpful when it was raining. We could see a variety of birds and iguanas from our house. Pool was also very fun!
