Phandara Luxury Pool Villas

Phandara exceeded our expectations! The setting, staff, and villa itself were brilliant. We only came across this place at the very last minute so managed to grab one night - we wish we were able to stay longer! Definitely make this your stop on Koh Tao!

We stayed at this villa for three nights, and it wasn't nearly enough-I didn't want to leave! In fact, l'd love to move there. The property is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views that I could never get tired of. The location was perfect-close to everything-and the free shuttle service made exploring super convenient. The infinity pool overlooking the sea and sunset was pure magic and one of the most memorable parts of our stay. The villa itself was beautifully designed, especially the shower with its outdoor, nature-inspired feel -it added such a unique and relaxing touch. Everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The hosts, Justyna and her husband, were amazing. They were so kind, welcoming, and helpful, providing excellent recommendations for places to visit and the best local food. Their warmth and hospitality made the experience even more special. The villa, the views, and the overall vibe were just perfect. We had zero issues and can't wait to come back. Highly, highly recommended!

We came to celebrate a birthday, we wanted a villa so we will have space while our baby is sleeping. We found out there is no air conditioning in the living room! It was too hut to be there so we didn’t had the option to stay at the living at all. We need to be in a small room. When we asked for help, they said that they have nothing to do (even when we asked for a stand alone fan), and they asked how come we didn’t see in the pictures there is no fan in the living room (?!?!). Anyway, For us, not having air conditioning in Thailand is a deal breaker. The shower is open. I mean, completely open. It wasn’t clear to me in the pictures. When you are taking a shower, animals are outside with you. Also, bathroom in the middle of the night was challenging. The curtains in the room are not good, for people who like darkness in the room in the morning , it’s not the place. We were ok, the baby less. For the end, the pool is not clean. All of our swimwear turned to be yellow. You can see that also the white tiles like that. I don’t like to give a bad review, but it felt like a scam. You are paying for expensive villa and getting something completely different. Attaching pictures so it can help seeing it.

The villa had a well maintained private pool overlooking the ocean. It was kept clean everyday with complimentary croissants (even though we didn’t consume any). We really liked the convenience of the free shuttle and that the villa is located very near sairee beach and the pier.

One of the 2 bedder villa did not have shelter to another bedroom and we got wet trying to move from the living room to the bedroom. The villa has A LOT of mosquitoes and insects as is expected of any hilltop villa, however more insect nets and doors could be installed to keep the insects out of the bedroom. Sliding doors could not close properly and some toilets were open air which meant that we could not shower when it rained .. One of the showers also lacked hot water and one bedroom’s air condition unit was leaking. All the villas require a lot of climbing of stairs (89 steps to our villa) so if you are not so mobile you should re-consider this villa, however this wasn’t too big of an issue for us. We came to koh tao mainly to dive, which meant that we had to be at the pier every morning by 745am, however the shuttle was rather inflexible and only starts at 8am. we had to contact our own driver separately. It would be more accommodating if the villa could assign us the same driver at an additional cost instead of having to reach out to another driver. We also could not stay out past 9pm... Perhaps 730am - 930/10pm would be a better time frame for guests. The villa staff however were very accommodating and let us swap villas on night 3-4 as the other 2 bedroom villa was vacant.

One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been in my life. Kind stuff and owners and attention to the very small details. I watch from the villa’s balcony with the private pool - the most amazing and breath stopping sunsets I’ve seen in my life 🙏♥️ thank you 🙏 I will definitely come back sooner or later, solo or honeymoon. Perfect!

Nothing to say.

The spaciousness, openness with stunning views and everything you may need to make your stay comfortable and relaxed. Nothing was too great an ask from the staff or the owners and the driver service was superb.

Difficult to complain about anything but for me, I would change the open air bathroom to reduce jungle critters and it’s rough floor on my bare feet. Some have complained about the 80 odd steps down to the property but this is a small price to pay for the complete privacy.

Amazing property. The view is incredible but does come at a price as it’s on a very, very steep hill. However it was worth it! We never actually needed to walk up the hill as used the free shuttle bus or taxi (if we were late back). The villa itself is lovely and well equipped but what makes this place extra special is the attention to detail and the extra mile they go to, particularly the manager who was always on hand. We would definitely stay there again

Obviously the hill but it wasn’t a problem as we used the free shuttle bus
