Villa Helios

Well equipped villa with a great sea view and outlook. Television connections also worked for satellite channels in English

New Villa building and development work on the plot of land in front of the Villa did provide some disruption to peace and quiet during our stay. Parking access to the Villa was a little tight, although manageable with the small car we hired (i10) would be an issue for larger cars.

Excellent villa, very clean, comfortableand good facilities. Nice and easy to get into Elounda.

Parking space was a bit tight. You need a hire car, but it needs to be small. We were able to use the drive of adjourning villa to turn round in, but if they were occupied it would have been very difficult to get the car in and out - but not a game changer for us.

Could’ve done with a little more basic information in arrival folder, eg. As it was so early in the season, and our first few days were not sunny enough for the solar panels to heat the water, there was no info available to tell us where immersion heater was. After cold showers on our first day, I messaged the guy that looked after the property & he came over to show us promptly, but would’ve been nice to have had that info before our cold showers!

Our stay at Villa Helios in Elounda was exceptional. The villa is modern, spotless, and fully equipped with everything needed for a relaxing vacation. The view over the bay is stunning, and the outdoor area with the private pool is perfect for total relaxation. The location is ideal—close to Elounda but still very quiet and private. The host was friendly, helpful, and always available. Highly recommended. We would definitely stay here again.

I have never seen the view better than from the balcony of the house. The house is cosy and very clean. I hope to return.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, ein schöner Pool, schöne Blicke über das Meer.

Niemand war zur vereinbarten Zeit vor Ort um uns ins Haus zu lassen. Die hinterlegte Telefonnummer war nicht verfügbar. Beim dritten Versuch ist jemand ans Telefon gegangen und hat uns einen Code gegeben. Ein Bett war nicht bezogen. Eine Duschkabine ist völlig undicht, das ganze Badezimmer steht unter Wasser. Das Problem muss schon länger bestehen, entsprechend angesammelt sieht es dort aus.

La piscine n’était pas propre. Rebords jaunis et feuilles dans l’eau. Accès à la villa quelque peu compliqué et mal indiqué du fait qu’il y ait plusieurs villas au même lieu. Par contre, nous sommes descendus à pieds à Elouda en 15 mn 👍
