"burning garbage, toxic smoke"

Quiet area , no traffic noice

At midnight I woke up to a very toxic, suffocating smell. there was a man who was burning garbage (plastic, etc.) a few steps from the hotel reception! I complained, they put out the fire, but the lack of wind meant that the smoke stayed until the morning. And at 6 a.m. they started burning garbage again! I do not recommend this hotel. I don't recommend Bali in general, because this island is an environmental disaster.

"great stay and comfortable beds."

great friendly staff, very helpful and respectful. the GM let us do a late check out for free in one room. major plus! big comfortable rooms with working aircon and fridge.

A bit run down in the toilet area especially.old bathtubs. the main pool didn’t work and the place is full of monkeys. they however let us use one of the private villa pools.

"The restaurant was closed and had been for several years at least the power turned off every 10 minutes so it had no wif"

This property is completely disheveled and decrepit. The best was leaving after one night although I paid for 7.

The restaurant was closed and had been for several years at least the power turned off every 10 minutes so it had no wifi or internet and the toilet worked sometimes. The manager refused to give us a refund and booking.com were of little to no help at all.

Location and the nature around.

Some villas close to the road, so some noisy motobikes can wake you up. Others are better I think.
