Kanferri Villa

What a beautiful accommodation. Super clean and attention has been paid to every detail. The beds sleep fantastic! Breakfast is served in the beautiful tropical garden at the communal table and is really delicious! The villa is located very quietly, a place to completely relax.

We loved the quiet oasis, it was. The location is 5 minutes away from Ahangama with TukTuk and for us that was perfect. Ahangama was a bit noisy with all the traffic, so we liked to sleep with no noise at Kanferri. The breakfast was delicious and Ferran and Madura was very nice and helpful. We can truly recommend.

Gorgeous property, beautifully decorated. Set just away from the business of Ahangama which makes it very peaceful. Lovely pool to cool down in. Staff super friendly and helpful with things like bike hire and taxis. Lovely breakfast too. One of our favourite places we stayed in Sri Lanka.

We loved everything! The accommodation is designed so well and you can feel the attention to detail. It was super clean and we felt very comfortable. Especially nice is the long breakfast table, designed to get to know other guests and make friends - if you like to. We even got a birthday cake for my girlfriend which we could share with the other guests.

Nothing! Just be aware that it’s located a bit off the main road (meaning that it’s super quiet but you ideally need a scooter to get around).

Very clean. Extremely friendly. Peaceful. Great to see loads of nature around. Very responsive for any questions we had. Breakfast was great. Nice and easy to find with off road parking. Surrounded by locals no big hotels. You’ll struggle to leave this place as it really is a home away from home with the friendliness of both Ferran and Madura. Thank you very much for having us!

We had the best stay at Ferran’s place, the thoughtful design of the rooms and the immaculate gardens made you feel instantly at peace, the neighbourhood is so quiet, we had the most relaxing night’s sleep. Ferran and Madura are fantastic down to earth hosts, always a lovely chat with these 2. Everyone that stayed at the same time as us wanted to extend their stay. Need I say more?

I really can’t think of that possibly could be better. The host is super friendly and nice guy, always trying to help and make our stay even better. The place is super quiet, everything is clean and looks new.

The room was modern, well decorated, very well maintained. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was spacious. The AC worked well as did the hot water. The pool was lovely and so refreshing. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

The continental breakfast was sparse. Better to choose the yogurt option. Payment is only accepted in cash.

Having spent many months in Sri Lanka in different guesthouses and hotels, I can say that this place is exceptional. Kanferri Villa is very beautiful, quiet and extremely clean. The rooms are designed with lots of attention to detail and really well taken care of. Ferran and Madura are great hosts, always helpful and very attentive. Delicious breakfast with good coffee. I highly recommend this place!
