Atmosphere, quiet sanctuary

Smell of moth balls in linen and towels. A little bit far from key venues (even those recommended) by foot.

Location, bed was comfy and lounge area and outdoor area.

The toilet had a few issues

Fabulous location tucked away, so very quiet and peaceful, but still close to beach/restaurants. Bed very comfy, so that's a big plus for me.

Nothing!

We were robbed on our first day at this villa! We wanted to warn anyone who is thinking of booking this villa. We stayed here in April 2025. We had money stolen from the safe, which was practically on the street. The bungalow was very easy to get into from the street. There is no CCTV. No cameras. By a strange coincidence, the same thing happened here with Russian tourists six months ago. This means the villa is not safe. The police did nothing. They took statements, but the detective never showed up. The owner of the villa, after she stopped yelling at us, organized a massage for us as compensation. I have been to over 30 countries and Bali in general and this villa in particular are the worst travel experience of my life. P.S. I forgot to mention the dirty sheets and dirty bathroom. There was practically no cleaning. The fallen branches in the photo indicate that someone came on in from the street and broke a palm tree.

It’s a stunning property with a great vibe and serenity

A cosy retreat tucked down a back lane. Nice and quiet but still walking distance to the beach and restaurants

Plenty of room to laze about and just enjoy the peace and serenity. We stayed in the poolside room, which has shared access for other guests to use during their stay. The air conditioning was great when needed to keep the space inside cool. So close to the Seminyak beach, approximately 5-10 minute walk (when you work out which little laneways to cut through) and the Seminyak shops and market stalls are all within walking distance also. Plenty of restaurants close by, but if you’re using Grab or Gojek you’ll need to meet them outside. Vena and Gusti are great hosts and helped us out with our requests.

The pool was great, although the tiles could probably do with a high pressure hosing as appeared to have some mould, but understand how difficult this would be to do if there are guests continuously staying.
