Villa Tokay - The Luxury Resort

Ons verblijf bij Villa Tokay was werkelijk uitzonderlijk. Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen, werden we ondergedompeld in een oase van rust en schoonheid, waar elk detail met zorg is uitgewerkt. De villa, the wave was prachtig, stijlvol, privé en perfect in harmonie met de natuur, waardoor je hier echt helemaal tot rust komt. De spa was absoluut een hoogtepunt. De serene omgeving en de professionele therapeuten zorgen voor een diepe ontspanning. De behandelingen voelen persoonlijk en met aandacht uitgevoerd, waardoor je volledig kunt loslaten en genieten. Ook het restaurant was indrukwekkend. Elk gerecht was verfijnd, smaakvol en bereid met verse, kwalitatieve ingrediënten. De sfeer, vooral ’s avonds, is warm en intiem en maakt de ervaring compleet. Villa Tokay is meer dan alleen een verblijf, het is een echte beleving. Een perfecte combinatie van luxe, rust en oprechte gastvrijheid. Wij komen hier zeker terug!

Niets, alle verwachtingen ingelost.

We really enjoyed our stay a lot. The staff was very friendly and the resort was amazing. Very beautiful design. We loved hanging out at the shared pool in the middle of the resort. The cocktails were excellent! The location is great, a quiet side of the island, but still close to everything. Apparantly the road has recently been renewed. We loved the bicycles we got upon arrival to explore the island ourselves.

We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Villa Tokay in Gili Air. Honestly, it’s one of the most unique and beautiful places we’ve ever experienced. We stayed in both The Leaf and The Swell villas, and each of them was simply breathtaking. The architecture alone is incredible, almost cathedral-like, with impressive high ceilings and stunning design details. The villas feel like a perfect mix of luxury and nature. The private pools, the nets where you can relax above the water, the open yet intimate atmosphere… everything is designed to make you feel completely disconnected from the outside world. The entire property is a true oasis. The main pool surrounded by lush vegetation is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. It’s the kind of place where you instantly slow down and recharge. The restaurant was also excellent, with delicious food and a great ambiance. The spa is just as stunning and offers a perfect moment of relaxation. Every space in this hotel feels carefully designed and incredibly aesthetic. Another thing we really appreciated: they provide bikes to explore the island and snorkeling gear, which makes the experience even more enjoyable and seamless. And the location is perfect, just a short 3-minute walk from the beach, while still being tucked away in a quiet and serene environment. Everything was flawless from start to finish. The service was warm and attentive, and we truly didn’t want to leave. If you’re looking for a unique, luxurious, and peaceful stay in Gili Air, this place is simply a dream.

Nothing, everything was perfect

We loved staying at Villa Tokay. The resort is beautifully designed and the staff is simply amazing. We received bicycles to go around the island, which was very attentive and convenient. We got a great introduction upon check-in about both the resort and the island, which is amazing, we immediately felt at home! All the staff is really friend and really tried to help us with anything. The breakfast was delicious. We also had lunch and dinner which we really yenjoyed. The lunch is a bit more casual, but very comforting, while the dinner was really elevated (we tried the 7-course dinner). We also had a couples massage at the Spa which was lovely. We'll definitely be back at some point!

The fact that I had to leave back home.

Very small pool and surrounding area. Small room, with nowhere to put anything. Airless bathroom. No hot water at vanity basin. Housekeeping not attended to punctually. Extremely poor value.

Tuvimos algunos inconvenientes con el valor de la habitación, unieron errores en los cobros y además primero nos dijeron un valor y luego nos dijeron otro bastante más alto. Esos inconvenientes no fueron muy gratos. El resto de la estadía estuvo bien

Nous avons trouvé à Villa Tokay notre définition du luxe : un endroit incroyable, beau, raffiné sans être ostentatoire, un goût sûr, une équipe d’une formidable gentillesse et réactivité et un restaurant de grande qualité. La localisation est idéale et le prêt des vélos de bonne qualité permet de découvrir facilement toute l’île. Nous avons été très chanceux de découvrir ce lieu et espérons pourquoi pas y revenir un jour.
