Skiathos Gea Villas

- We have just returned from Skiathos Gea Villas, family of 3 staying in Villa Kallisto for 12 nights - It is a 2 storey, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa - It was spotlessly clean and the cleaners came in every day - It has an equipped kitchen and large fridge/ freezer, enough food prep space for the 3 of us but if 6 people stayed (the villa is advertised as a 6 berth) then I can see this would be difficult - It has a balcony off the bedrooms and a terrace area with a small pool. Again, this was big enough for the 3 of us but would be a squeeze for 6 people - Hairpins bends to get down the drive were fun but we soon got used to them! There is parking on site - We loved its remote and quiet location but you would definitely need to hire a car if staying here. Other than Anastasia’s there isn’t really anywhere to walk out to in an evening. Would recommend Anastasia’s for a nice sunset, good service and delicious food - This didn’t bother us but something to be aware of. There are 7 villas on this complex and all can be quite overlooked by other guests - Would recommend a visit to Agia Paraskevi beach, this was our favourite out of the 5 we visited and is a 10 minute drive with plenty of parking - Skiathos town is a 10/ 12 minute drive - Save the best until last- the view from the terrace and balcony. Just wow!!! 😍 - Thank you John and team, we loved our stay at Villa Kallisto

Overall a fantastic stay, attentive staff, good quality and amazing scenery. We had a very nice time in this somewhat remote stay overlooking Skiathos Town.

What we did not realise when booking is that it is quite far from everything so you either need a taxi or a car here. We love walking and tried walking to places at first but the elevation makes it a hike every time.

The room and facilities were all fantastic and very clean.

Just be aware that access to the villas is some distance away, up a very steep hill from the main road with some very tight turns. If you have a rental car this likely won't be much of a problem. It's worth the journey for the view in the villas!

Fantastic location and beautiful views. Very peaceful. The owners and staff were really kind, friendly and helpful.

We stayed at White Gea villa. And it was quite small. We are a family of 4 and have two teenage boys. There are two small double bedrooms and there is no way our teenage boys would share a double bed so one of them had to stay on the sofa in the living room/ communal area. A twin room would have been much better. We should have read the description more carefully and probably book a larger villa. But it didn’t spoil our stay. We still had an amazing time and would happily stay again.

The view was stunning. You need a car to stay there and make sure its a small car as the roads are tight. The apartment was fine for us. It wouldn't suit people wanting to play loud music or rowdy times. The owner is charming and the cleaners diligent.

The outdoor area with the swimming pool was amazing. Could’ve stayed out there all day every day and been happy to do so! All the staff were lovely and did the best job.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property. It was perfect! However, be prepared to walk if you don’t drive or want to get taxis.
