Beautiful property on Siesta Key

Nice and private, clean. Considering it was 4 weeks post hurricane, it was very nice.

Upstairs TV was not connected to cable. Toilet in master bedroom was noisy on flush and fill.

Beautiful location and close to the beach. Pretty and comfortable bungalow.

I'll start with the positive things about this property: The location was great, it's in a quiet area close to the beach, the view from the master bedroom was amazing. It's a little far from grocery stores and restaurants, but a short drive. I don't have much to add here except that a folding cart was provided along with an umbrella and sun loungers which was very helpful.

It is worth noting that literally a few days before arrival we were asked to wash all the towels and throw away all the garbage. In the future I would prefer to be notified of this prior to booking. And imagine our surprise when we discovered that all the towels were dirty upon our arrival. They were in unacceptable condition and we had to wash them thoroughly. There was a problem with the dryer and it took much longer than expected. So we had to buy new towels for everyone and use them instead of the ones the owner provided. There was one more thing that we learned about only after the first night. The master toilet 🚽 makes an annoying buzzing noise when you flush and lasts longer than a minute. I've seen the same thing in other comments and want to confirm that the bed in master bedroom squeaks. The other two were wobbly. The water temperature cannot be adjusted to a certain temperature in the main bathroom. It can only be hot when turning left, and cold when turning right. This was also strange. However, there were no such problems in the other bathroom. Moving on to the kitchen, I would like to add that the cutting board, trash can, baking dishes, and toaster were old and in unacceptable condition, they were also dirty, and they need to be replaced promptly. Moreover, there were only two garbage bags that fit the size of the garbage cans. All the other bags did not seem to be for garbage and were very small. Besides, there were roaches 🪳, we have seen at least three of them. Might not be an issue for someone. We didn’t use the pool at all, but the outdoor furniture looked also like it could have used a deep cleaning. Be sure to bring enough body wash, shampoo and conditioner. And don't forget the repellent: the mosquitoes in this area were very strong even during the daytime.

The only complaint I have is the parking it is right underneath the tree with about 10 big birds nest in it. It totally destroyed my truck. I’m going to have to physically scrub the bird poop out of the bed of my truck. It’s everywhere.

The host was unresponsive when asked to rectify an issue. No wifi. Kept giving me a network that didn't exist and then told me I was doing it wrong. Which clearly I wasn't. I wouldn't go back because of the host.

Good location. All facilities that we required. Quiet surroundings.

Property was a little tired as regards decor.

Spacious house with all amenities you could wish, tucked away in a gated neighborhood, we felt very safe and cozy. All useful information has been provided by Mira in advance as well as a Key for Beach access. Parking for the whole day after checkout was possible.

Master bedroom is quite bright in the morning as blinds are not fully covering the windows. Master bed is a bit squeaky.

Location was great. At night we would sit out by the inter coastal waterway, and have a nightcap
