Ocean Spray Villas

Best views straight out to lagoon. Reasonably centrally located.

Way from main road to property a bit dark and scary.

Loved the location, nice and spacious

Prime location, beach front, family friendly, close to town with shops nearby. Facilities were great and suited our whaanau of 11 as we had booked both villas. We had an absolute blast! We brought our own food and cooked a barbecue, tried the oven and prepared a glazed ham with all the trimmings, breakfast consisted of bacon etc there was a beautiful outdoor dining/lounging/hangout area with an outdoor shower for after swim wash downs before making your way up to the house. An ocean reef right outside your doorstep just waiting to be explored and our mokopuna absolutely made the most of every moment. Morning coffee and whaanau catch ups out on the deck, with ocean views and lots of action eg waka ama, ships rolling in, people out fishing, charters rolling by and friendly people casually strolling along the beach stopping for a chat. The cleaning staff introduced themselves within minutes of our arrival and supported us through everything we needed to know to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They had also left us a mop at my request so I could ensure that we could keep things as tidy as possible. We also had laundry powder, dish liquid, and toiletries provided for our convenience. A bottle of bubbles in the fridge upon our arrival with a welcome note placed upon the bench, a map of the island with a range of activities, discounts and bus time schedule for our convenience. The beds were comfortable, multiple pillows, bed linen and towels for both showering and swimming which we really appreciated. The cleaning team had advised us in advance of the days that they would be back to freshen up our villas. We stayed for 10 nights and it has been absolutely superb. We also met the grounds crew who did some caretaking of the property whilst we were here and much like the cleaners they took were very efficient at their jobs, attention to detail and lovely people. I've saved the best for last, our host Liana. Hostess with the mostest!

Would have loved ceiling fans (or a couple more pedestal fans) because we prefer not to use air conditioning. Beach not very swimmable (although we knew this prior)

Everything was perfect.

There is no AC in the living space but the wide doors looking out to the waters make up for a nice natural breeze.

Direkte Lage am Pazifik. Balkon direkt oberhalb der Wellen.

Villa liegt direkt hinter sehr einfachen Häusern von Einheimischen. Es laufen viele Hunde auf der Zufahrt herum. Im Wohnraum gibt es keinen Ventilator, sodass die Luft nicht genügend zirkuliert. Dadurch ist es sehr schwül.
