It was in a great location, staff were friendly and the room was newly renovated with great air conditioning and a ceiling fan.

Lovely stay at So-J Beach Villa in Uppuveli. The staff was always kind, courteous, and very attentive to our needs. They generously allowed us a late check-out, which made our last morning much more relaxed before continuing our trip. Breakfast was excellent — fresh, generous, and well prepared every morning. The villa itself is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with cozy rooms and everything in good order. Great location in Uppuveli, perfect for exploring Trincomalee, relaxing on the nearby beach, and heading out to Pigeon Island for snorkeling. Highly recommended for travelers looking for a well-run beachfront stay with genuinely warm hospitality. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

La proximité avec la plage La piscine

Les chambre n’était pas très propre La Clim était extrêmement bruyante Très peu d’accessoires (pas de serviette pour s’essuyer les mains, une seule poubelle, ..)

The location was great, a few mins from the centre and the beach. The bed was good. Aparte wc. Redelijk grote kamer. Nice garden and bungalows. Good breakfast and lovely people.

Everything was a bit outdated. The water came out of the shower head on all sides and everything just felt a bit old. The room was fine, but I would have expected the price to be a bit lower.

Hôtel très bien situé à 2 minutes à pied de la plage d’un côté et de la rue principale de l’autre. On trouve très facilement de quoi se restaurer et des supermarchés. La plage est propre et tres agréable, et encore peu fréquentée à notre période ce qui est très appréciable. Le personnel est sympathique et serviable et peut organiser des activités à tarifs corrects. Notre villa climatisée était bien aménagée et pratique.

Les alentours peuvent être un peu bruyants (nous étions en période de nouvel an et beaucoup de fêtes locales) mais jamais de bruit la nuit.

Accueil très sympathique. Le logement est au top et très confortable. L’hôtel est à deux pas de la mer. Le personnel est au petit soins. Sans oublier un petit déjeuner très copieux et délicieux. Nous avons passé un super séjour. Merci à toute l’équipe.❤️

Des villas spacieuses, propres, bien décorées et super bien entretenues dans un jardin très agréable. Un personnel aux petits soins et très sympathiques. Des petits déjeuners copieux qui changent tous les jours. Le patron qui parle français. Le wifi au top ! Une piscine pour les heures chaudes ! Proche de la plage et de la rue des restaurants. La ville de Trinco est accessible en quelques minutes de Tuktuk. On devait rester une nuit, nous sommes restés 3 nuits !

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good quality and generous servings. Bed was comfortable. Nearby beach was great for swimming and there are multiple dining options close by.

Rooms would present better if they were refurbished. Perhaps tiling, painting or panelling. Stayed here on two separate occasions. First villa had working AC and hot water, second villa had neither. The accommodation here is not trying to be 5 star. It's reasonably priced and is conveniently located.
