Villa Casa Mar

Hygiëne was ondermaats. Ongedierte zoals kleine kakkerlakken in de keuken. Ook geurprobleem in 1 badkamer en in het waskot. De vaat zat nog in de vaatwasser bij aankomst. Sommige kookpotten waren nog aangekoekt met etensresten. Bij 3 braadpannen zat de steel los en kon er elk moment afvallen. Heb deze met veel improvisatie kunnen vastschroeven. Geen zeep aanwezig in de badkamers. Is ook bij de tussentijdse "schoonmaak" niet aangevuld. Het toiletpapier of de keukenhanddoeken evenmin (voor een periode van 15 dagen !) Geen peper & zout aanwezig in de keuken Onvoldoende toiletpapier voor een verblijf van 2 weken, slechts 1 rolletje in elke badkamer. Kunststof doek van de ligzetels buiten op terras zijn volledig doorgezakt... je voelt de dwarsbalk zo in je rug drukken. Zwembadzeil is volledig afgeschenen en geeft een troosteloze indruk. Zwembadladdertje zit los in de vloer waardoor het onaangenaam wiebelt bij het in en uitstappen van het zwembad.

Location, not too far to walk into the Rubicon Marina complex. Plenty of crockery, cutlery and drinking glasses. Kitchen well equipped with kettle, filter coffee machine coffee pod machine, toaster, microwave, hob, oven, dishwasher and fridge freezer.Tea towels, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and dish cloth provided. Complementary provisions, including coffee pods, bread, cheese and ham, milk and wine. Utility room with washing machine, iron and ironing board. Bath and beach towels provided.

A few insects on the kitchen worktops regularly. We kept all food in the fridge. 2nd bathroom had a drainy smell to it. We didn’t use the shower in here, but did run it to try and clear the smell.

The location was great and comfortable and the view from the terrace was beautiful and relaxing.

Nothing really, except there’s a few creepy crawlies that come out in the kitchen at night time

Pool too deep, also steps into pool unsteady. Dark walkway to villa, needs more light above steps.

Location, Wi-fi and staff all amazing. Had some issues and someone attended within 5 minutes, couldn’t believe the response times.

Had some issues with bugs in the kitchen at night which we couldn’t source and involved a deep clean every morning.

Some small areas of the villa could do with fixing and or modernising

99% of the villa was excellent. Host communication excellent.

Sun loungers could do with some cushions.

Swimming pool was tired and in need of maintenance ie repainted etc.

Great location, easy 15 minute walk to the Marina or 5 minute drive. For a couple it was a very good size and comfortable place to lounge. Nice and quiet even though UK school holidays. We think neighbours are locals not rentals. View was good, no building directly in front, with Playa Blanca and the sea in the distance. Very good value. We would return.

Just detail really. Furniture, cutlery and crockery just a bit tired. Utility room suffered from typical continental smelly drains. Hot water limited. If all beds were in use facilities would be limited. Although quiet for us there was a development going on close by, which appeared to be on hold while we were there.
