Beachside Villa with Private lap pool

Amazing property! Great location. Exceeded expectations

Not all beds were made up.

The place was very clean and everything was supplied for self contained living.

The beds were too small for adults and the linen was not good.

The house was amazing. Lots of room and areas to relax. The kids loved the lap pool.

The wifi was poor and slow. The BBQ lighter switch is broken so we had to use a lighter which flamed up as it connected to the gas. Could have caused burn injury. A privacy door to the main ensuite would have suited us better.

The location was really good. The Cafe around the corner was a great find. The pool was a good size and we made a lot of use of it

The property smelt of damp and mold, even with the doors/windows open during the day the smell did not go away. There were patches of black mold on the curtains and ceiling. The linen provided was stained and smelt damp. The bed in the main room was small and very very hard and uncomfortable. My partner ended up sleeping on the couch in the lounge to try and get away from the mold and because the bed was so uncomfortable. We (3 adults) all felt unwell and had coughs and sneezing when inside. In addition we paid for a 5 bedroom villa but we locked out of the upstairs of the property so could not use the balconies etc upstairs at all. Overall the property seemed run down in need of maintenance and a thorough clean. I messaged the property on our return but they have not responded. Very very disappointed.

Location was amazing. Quiet and only 5-10mins from main street of Port Douglas.

Location was good, close to the beach and relatively quite besides very close to the noisy pub.

Pool was not maintained (green) so we’re unable to use. Only had access to the lower part of the unit, not sure why. Building and gardens in need of some much needed maintenance
