We had a really fantastic stay at the Shahgri Lanka! The staff were incredibly kind and helped us organize our tour to Yala Park. We absolutely saw some leopards as well as excellent elephant action 🐘 🐆. Try to get the same driver as we had! He knew where to go and kept his foot on the gas The pool area was a highlight and we went for several dips. We also enjoyed the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Room was very spacious with a bathroom that 15 people would fit in if that sort of thing interests you We would happily stay here again and were sad it was only for one night. Don't just stay one night! Two nights are better than one night.

OMG what a great little find. I can’t thank Theekshana enough, he went over and beyond to make our stay so memorable. We were lucky to have the whole place to ourselves and Theekshana gave us full board for our stay because the room I had booked wasn’t ready. We were more than happy with the room we had. All of the staff were amazing and the chef is an amazing cook, the food was fantastic.

From the moment we arrived, Theekhana looked after us, making sure our stay was special. He also arranged for our Dawn Safari, followed by an enjoyable traditional Sri Lankan dish on our return. The residence was very quiet and we were fortunate to have the whole property to ourselves. The rooms and bathroom are also very large and comfortable. Superb hospitality and would thoroughly recommend

This is an excellent modern hotel with large room and enormous bathroom. Easily the cleanest hotel room I have stayed in in Sri Lanka. Restaurant food was excellent. Staff were also excellent.

We stayed here for four nights with our baby. Everybody made sure we had a wonderful stay here! They were so sincerely friendly, were amazing with our baby, and for mothers day they even provided a special breakfast. The pool was well maintained, and food was great as well. Be aware though, breakfast portions can be absolutely huge!
