Little Chalet Daylesford

Clean, comfortable and very cosy and good location

Despite the forbidding exterior, it was surprisingly cosy and well appointed inside. Liked the fact that the property was very private

The bathroom on the ground floor did not have a toilet roll holder nor towel rails. There is a number provided for contact during our stay, but despite phoning several times on our day of arrival there was no response. The only way I was able to get a response was using booking.com messaging, and then late evening a vehicle arrived and delivered towels.

Close to the city, easy walking distance.

There was suppose to be a washing machine as stated on the website but when I phoned I was told the machine had been taken out as it was not working but it would be replaced within a couple of days but it was still not replaced when we left

Good size beds

The pillows were terrible u must take ur own, and there were lots of bees in the bathroom other than that great little place.

Beds were comfortable.

Ground floor bedroom lacked the following: Hanging space, hangers, towel rails, shower caddy or soap dish, basin had no surrounding space for bottles etc, no hooks for clothes, any surface for resting suitcase to unpack etc. Address advertised should be 46A Vincent St not 46.
