Little Chalet Daylesford

The property was cute with a Scandanavian chalet style. We stayed with friends so the 2 bedrooms with ensuite, 1 upstairs 1 down worked well. The beds at the property were very comfortable and good size. Parking and key access was easy and convenient

For a 2 bedroom, 4 person stay the lounge kitchen is very snug with only 1 2 seater couch and chair. Extra armchair would have been good even though there were TVs in each room. Upstairs ensuite needs refurbishment. Otherwise comfy stay for a night or 2.

Great location, clean enough but a little run down. Comfortable beds, good facilities. Good air-conditioning.

Fan in upstairs bedroom can't be used, broken switch. Showers bit mouldy. Not enough tea/coffee for 2 nights for 4 people. Upstairs verandah not safe/unusable.

Lovely little property. Beautiful inside and out. Lovely contact with the owners/caretakers.

8 lights were not working rendering the two bedrooms not usable at night. Advised caretakers that night when noticed (with videos). They tried to rectify them the next day with 4 lights not being able to be fixed. Caretakers offered drinks at local pub, we dont drink so we did not take that offer up. Would've like some financial refund as a basic facility of a property is to have lights functioning. Couch was not cleaned had to advise them of food in the couch that was not ours. Again video was supplied to the caretakers. Upon entry of the long driveway two sections of the retaining wall have collapsed including a inground water system poking out forcing us to drive further across so our car touched the flora. I did take videos not photos of all the above so I cannot attach below but did forward to caretaker.

Great set up for either a family or two couples beds were very nice

The facility was very nice and comfortable, but unfortunately, I think something had died in the roof and there was a very strong odour downstairs and we had to vent with the air-conditioner most of the day and night to get the smell out Also, it was extremely noisy as there are tree branches hitting the roof in the wind above that need to be trimmed
