Chalet Fernblick - Panoramic view

A very nice Chalet in the mountains, great for a relaxing holiday

It was very cold (15 deg C inside) when we got there, and the owner did not return our calls for hours. We had to improvise to keep ourselves warm (we lit a big fire in the fireplace, and warmed up the house), but it took almost the whole day ...

Beautiful view! Terrace and sunroom for breakfast! Good kitchen. The main floor was ok but the room in the entrance floor was neglected and empty.

The code for the door wasn’t right and the woman on the the phone talked very poor English… No shampoo or soap The house needs good cleaning and maybe a small makeover

The view was amazing, the home was nice. Great deck and sunroom.

We were supposed to leave 50 francs at the home when we left for the city tax. When we arrived there was a worker there who let us in and he said we needed to give in 72 francs. I spoke to the lady in the office and she insisted I give him the cash. I stated we agreed on 50 francs which she did accept. Felt the management team a bit shady. There were earwigs crawling all over the house and ceiling. I notified the office through booking that there was no coffee pot carafe and no one ever responded back.
