Avonlea Forest Hill Cottages

It was quiet and they let us in 2 hours early then the 4:00 check in. Small bathroom but has everything you need. The kitchen is fully stocked fridge/freezer, Stove, microwave and coffee maker, not Keurig. Perfect Location and Close to shopping , eating, beaches etc.

We stayed in the cozy carriage 1 bedroom cottage. It’s not a 1 bedroom it’s a studio cottage. I was expecting the bed to be in a room by itself. The bed was as hard as a rock and I probably woke up 30 times to change positions because I was so sore and when I pulled the comforter up all I could smell was BO like someone put it under their armpit that hadn’t been washed. And the comforter never got washed or exchanged. The second night I actually slept on the couch (didn’t open it) it was so much more comfortable but wasn’t really long enough for me to stretch out. Something that didn’t bother us but may once it gets really busy is that the laundry is attached to this cottage so I’m assuming it’s going to get very noisy inside with the washer and dryer going.

Domek spełnił nasze wszystkie oczekiwania. Idealne miejsce dla małej grupy. Lokalizacja świetna, zwłaszcza pod względem atrakcji związanych z Anią z Zielonego Wzgórza. Blisko do marketów i restauracji.

Po zameldowaniu musiałyśmy jeszcze raz u uczyć naczynia, ponieważ nie były do końca czyste. W łazience na piętrze był problem związany z ciśnieniem wody w baterii prysznicowej.

Location, cleaned, very cute.

Instructions on how to use the TV., maybe it was because we are US residents? Explanation on recycling would have been helpful- we weren’t sure what to do. The bed on the bathroom side doesn’t have enough room to move easily around it.

Very clean. Well stocked and functional kitchen.

On Tuesday they stated major road and tree work unexpectedly. One person in my group has bad allergies and had an asthma attack do the dirt and dust caused. Could not go out that evening for dinner.

Fabulous cottage. New condition. Would highly recommend.

Great place to stay, owners are very accommodating Right next to avonlea village - lots of fun

It was very cute. It seemed newly remodeled (withing the last couple years likely). It was very clean and kept well. Great location and still felt secluded. Not like the other cottages in the area that feel like you can touch their places, this place was close to other cabins but was well wooded, so it didn't have that same feel as being "on top of" your neighbor like those cottages seem to be.

The water pressure in the shower was the absolute worst I have ever had and I travel a LOT. Also, the mice in the ceiling and walls would wake me up in the night. They would scratch and run so loudly at all times of the day. Also, there wasn't any room for luggage. We had to use the couch and the table to put our luggage on then had to close it all up to use the table or couch. That part was minor, but was still annoying.

The location was great cottage was clean.

The wifi was weak. The bathroom could have been cleaner.
