Liked the campsite

Terrible musty smell, dirty blinds mouldy at the bottom with pieces missing. Outside area filthy with cobwebs. No mention that the chalet was up a steep hill not enough seating and no dining table to eat

The park itself was nice and the staff friendly . The fishing lake and the sunsets were lovely .

A lot smaller than it looked in the pictures unfortunately it smelt like it needed to be aired . The beds were extremely uncomfortable . Rust underneath the top bunk bed mattress . No pictures or lamps could be improved .

We recently (22nd May 2024) booked a stay at the “Cozy Snowdonia Chalet in Wales,” and it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. Do not book this place—it was awful, damp, wet, mouldy, smelly, and dirty. Firstly, the chalet was in terrible condition. The dampness was pervasive, with visible mould on the walls that made it unsafe, especially for children. The fireplace, which we were counting on for warmth, didn’t work, and the TV remote was broken, making it impossible to relax with any entertainment. To add insult to injury, we discovered upon arrival that you need to pay extra for the electricity meter—something that wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the advertisement. This hidden cost was a significant inconvenience and an unpleasant surprise. The kitchen extractor fan was filthy, covered in grime and grease. Combined with the black mould throughout the chalet, it was a health hazard. We felt it was unsafe to prepare or consume any food there. The photos in the advertisement make the chalet look much bigger than it actually is, and the smell of dampness hits you immediately upon entering. Many reviews reference the same issues I’ve mentioned, but nothing seems to have been done about it. It’s clear that the management has ignored these complaints, and the problems persist unabated. Booking through Booking.com provided no protections or assurances of quality. When we complained, we were offered another unit in the park, which was slightly better but still far from what we had booked, planned, or envisaged. In the end, we cut our losses and left after a single night instead of the planned two. This was one of the worst travel experiences we’ve ever had, and I strongly advise others to avoid this chalet and exercise caution when booking through Booking.com.

Nice location. Close to lots of attractions.

I have recently visited the Cozy Snowdonia Chalet. I was extremely disappointed. It was advertised as having a “fully equipped kitchen” and in the welcome message it states “All kitchen utensils you require”. However, there was no potato masher, no peeler, no chopping board and no ovenmits. This made even the easiest of dinners quite difficult. We had to go and purchase the necessities ourselves. This is not acceptable . We also found that there were hidden fees with this particular rental. You are required to purchase your own electric which isn’t written within the advertisement. We were unaware of it until we had already booked. The chalet needed some repairs with the ceiling falling away. Multiple broken door handle. Broken kitchen cupboard. It had a strong smell of damp.

Accessible code box was a good idea. Saves everyone the hassle of meeting face to face or at a time. Location wasn’t too far from town.

The cleanliness of the chalet. Cups were still dirty; floor looked like it had been roughly swept but still stuff on it; a table had crumbs or something on it.. it just felt like it was a rushed job to clean.

We stayed there for two nights. Such an amazing cozy place with all the facilities available. It is small but once you are in there it's very spacious. I don't know how they managed to do that. Very clean and tidy and kept really well with a good view.. loves every seconds there ❤️
