Location, facilities, and great communication from owners

This is the second time we have stayed in the cabin, and it has started to appear a little run down. Blinds had mould on the bottom with sections missing, the bathroom door handle.on the inside was hanging off, Tv remote in the bedroom was smashed and left not working, fire wasnt working, no sweeping brush for the floors, the general cleanliness has gone downhill and the cabin has a damp smell.

Unfortunately the property has a damp issue. Owners need to invest time and resource to sort this out.

Great location. Everything you need on site (pool, poolside bar, cafe, shop etc). Key lock box allows for easy check in and check out. Good parking. Shower very hot and powerful. Great check in instructions prior to arrival.

The cleanliness was quite off putting. There was a pair of false eyelashes stuck to a fork and rest of cutlery looked dirty, a worn pair of socks and boxers in bedroom, stained towels, no bath mat or bathroom bin. Also lack of mirrors… there is one small mirror in bedroom 1 (quite difficult with 4 people all getting ready at same time). Also worth noting that the shop only takes cash for electric meter cards.

Spacious Chalet, water pressure good, cleanliness ok.

No welcome pack, no basic supplies provided (Tea/Coffee/Sugar/Milk/kitchen roll), chalet holds up to 5/6 people yet 1 ONE toilet roll is provided so you will need to go shopping on top of paying £500 for 3 nights in July. WIFI router is non existent, only a very small ironing board is supplied, there is 1 mirror and it’s in the master bedroom - no mirror in the bathroom? The master beds wooden slats could be felt through the mattress. The chalet says there’s a washing machine in the facilities (this needs changing to say there’s a machine on site and not in the chalet). Lastly the main entrance / living room blinds have 6/7 blinds missing so privacy isn’t as good as should be. Whoever owns this chalet needs to invest some of the money earned to fix immediate basic problems / missing things and include a welcome pack at the very least. Then including more decor to encourage a ‘homey’ feel around the chalet. We next time will stay in a different chalet.

What a Beautiful location the sight was pretty breathtaking, with the grounds water features , residing swans and delightful gardens , very impressive and would definitely stay again. Staff here are very friendly and happy to accommodate. They have good specials throughout the week in restaurant, even a fun night.

The weather was rainy and the inside foot mat wasn’t sufficient the rubber strips made it hard to clean and wipe your feet. There was a hair dryer but it wasn’t working. We had to use our towel on the floor as a bath mat. There was a number of blind strips missing, and dirty ,so not 100% private in the property. The shower was a bit tight so not good for any one with a bit of weight on ,to try put it as politely as I can . No mirror in the bathroom so my husband could see for his shave. Would have been nicer for me to let the owner know rather than on here. 😞 sorry.
