Place itself is nice. Well located

Firstly was not easy to find this property. The place itself is very cold one electric heater was not working. There was no hand wash, at least there should be some sort of soap to wash hands. And the mattress was very uncomfortable. And bath sink was also clogged

It was based on a lovely area with a beautiful lake and stream.

I don’t like to complain but we were really not happy with the upkeep of this chalet. A couple of issue: 1. Blinds were missing so we couldn’t close the front off all the way and they were filled with mould. 2. The bathroom handle was broken and we couldn’t close the door without the handle coming off. 3. There were no mugs for us to have a cup of tea or coffee. 4. There main bedroom bed was horribly uncomfortable. 5. The remote for the fireplace was not working so we couldn’t use it. 6. The electrical meter we tipped up at the petrol station, as recommended by the owner, did not work the first time so we ended up having to go back a second time to get a new card. 7. It would have been nice to have had some type of hand soap in the bathroom as a nice touch. 8. The towels smelled damp and had that smell when you haven’t dried them properly. 9. There was no broom and vacuum to allow us to at least clean up any dirt on the floor from everyone walking in from muddy weather. 10. The kitchen cupboards smelled damp and so did all the crockery and glassware. 11. The bathroom window did not want to open is was jammed shut. Like I say, I don’t usually like to complain but all the above made our stay really unpleasant and didn’t feel like a holiday due to all the issues. I hope the owner receives a copy of this so that they have the opportunity to fix them.

The only thing I would change was to have a brush or something similar to help keep the chalet clean while we were there

It was perfect for our stay. Located just 15 minutes away from the start line of Marathon Eryri Quiet area and convenient
