The cottage was clean and lovely. We liked having a bathroom each. The lambs in the field were lovely to watch from the balcony. The TVs in every room were fab and big. The beds and sheets were good quality and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Travelled with my elderly father, so all on one level with a wet room shower and seat was perfect. Flowers on arrival.

Balcony needs a bit of TLC (woodwork). Soon got used to rumble of the cattlegrid.

A lovely cottage. Very clean and well equipped place. Good location for exploring. Comfortable beds and an amazing shower. We were travelling back down to home from Scotland, so broke up the journey perfectly. A great time at Lake Windermere for a day.

"A cosy comfortable cottage for exploring the Lakes & the Dales."

A very comfortable cottage that is ideally situated for exploring The Lake District & The Yorkshire Dales. The cottage had everything we needed & was a welcome place to return to after sightseeing. The owner was very prompt in responding to any contact we made. Clear communication & very approachable. We would definitely return.

"Lovely cottage in convenient location as a stop-over"

Beautifully set up, very nice house. We only had an overnight stay so not much time to enjoy it but we’d come back. Convenient location near motorway and it wasn’t noisy.

Lovely place in an idyllic setting. Thoughtfully appointed and great comfort throughout. The only slight thing we would say is that some of the kitchen equipment was a little inconsistent. Struggled to find a lid that fit any of the pans and cooking utensils seemed a selection, no dishwashing tablets or cleaning cloth but there was laundry ones. There kitchen was a little dirty in places. None of this spoiled our break though and would be easy to remedy. Would definitely recommend

Loved our stay here! Perfect location to explore Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. Accommodation was perfect, spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The balcony was a nice bonus too, would definitely stay again.
