Lune Cottage nestled between Lake District and Yorkshire Dales

Place was modern, warm and relaxing.

Close to main road and cattle grid noise keeps you awake at night if you are a lighter sleeper. However the place is still lovely.

Great location, owner answered our query immediately, comfortable bed.

Only issue was that another guest in an opposite cottage had dogs running loose and we’re not picking up dog mess after their own dogs. This was no fault to where we stayed in any way and we would still return.

Perfect location for work

We had a very pleasant stay at this lovely cottage. The space was generous, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind. Everything we needed was readily available, making our stay comfortable and hassle-free. The cottage was well-equipped, clean, and thoughtfully arranged. A perfect getaway – we would definitely return! Highly recommended.

The property was great value for money and what you’d expect for what you pay. The owner was lovely and welcoming. The property was clean and nicely decorated. Coffee machine and smart tv were great.

The heating was on 24 the whole of our stay despite our efforts to turn it down which made for difficulty sleeping. We did open the windows which then resulted in hearing a wind chime all night and the cattle grid close by however with the windows closed it was quiet enough. The kitchen could do with a few more glasses and more utensils however we managed and like I say for what we paid I feel the cottage was good value for money.

I love love love it here. The cottage was so beautifully done. It's my idea of a dream home I love it. Everything was so clean. The decoration and the furniture were all lovely. I loved that you have a tv in every room. The bathrooms are beautiful. The host is so so so lovely. I can't wait to stay here again I loved it so much.

I loved everything there wasn't one thing that I didn't like everything was perfect.

Ideal location, just off the motorway but with access to the village, a really lovely cottage with all facilities, very comfortable and cosy and will definitely stay again

Much better than expected, 2 lovely bedrooms, one with a four poster bed. 2 bathrooms, good quality toiletries and even a chocolate left on the towels. Perfect for our stopover whilst waiting for our caravan to be serviced across the road. Space for our car directly outside the cottage. Freezing conditions outside, but the underfloor heating meant that it was lovely and warm inside.

Close to the M6, so some traffic noise as expected, but not a problem in the winter. Also this was actually a benefit in the snowy conditions, we didn't have to drive on any country lanes.
