Mystic Mountain Chalet, Heated Outdoor Pool & Hot Tub, Free Parking, Fast Wifi!

Location is generally ok, but the town of Canmore is kinda small anyway

I probably should’ve checked the detail before I book the place, but it really made me feel uncomfortable when they send these in DMs: 1) there’s an agreement to be signed before entry 2) a deposit of $500 I’ve been staying in 4 star hotels in Banff and Calgary days before, also some airbnbs along the road trip, none of them have these kind of prerequisites, I understand it’s written in the detail descriptions but I would definitely avoid this if I were aware of this fussy process. They even have a long list of check out checkboxes for guests to complete before you can get out of the place, which made me stressed, I really thought about canceling the order even though I’ve paid already. And this made me feel dumb to pay the $200+ Service fee+tax, if I have to basically get everything “well prepared” (including placing the TV remote control right back to the place, tie up your garbage bags etc..)before they can clean it. Other stuff that made us feel uncomfortable: If you forget to return the parking pass, which is only a plastic card, they are going to charge you $200 for that. Everything about this place made me feel stressed and anxious, sometimes threatened. It made me feel like I’m visiting my parents’ place, I do not feel relaxed at all. No coffee & tea provided at this price(similar price to 4star in Banff) Heater in master bedroom is noisy at night. If you are looking for a simple hassle free leisure trip, I would not recommend this.

Quick response from hosts. Price was decent for a big group. Didn't get to check the amenities but it seemed clean enough.

I asked if I could squeeze in 2 small kids because of unforeseen circumstances a few days before check-in, offering to pay extra. They said no because of the stated max capacity and couldn't make an exception, so, I proceeded to book another accommodation for the other family. On the day of check-in past 3 pm, they messaged me saying they could consider my request and asking if they could proceed with the extra charge. lol There was so much to do to check in. I had to sign the terms and conditions, saying everything was good in the apartment without even having to see the apartment. The online system wouldn't accept my documents despite being clear and having good lighting. I messaged the host for an alternative, but they kept saying to try again. After an hour of trying and getting errors, I had to ask if I could send my documents through email instead, and it turns out I could. When I got there, I looked everywhere in the unit for the parking pass to avail of the free parking (mind you, it was ONE parking spot for a unit of 10 people). The pass was nowhere to be found, so I messaged; apparently, previous occupants had taken it by mistake, so we couldn't even get free parking inside the premises. It was a non-refundable booking. After half an hour, we all ended up ditching the place and staying at the other place I booked with no problem whatsoever.

beds comfy, en suite bathroom, hot tub nice but why only 3 jets working - some supervision is needed there as there were some loud drinking people one time we wanted to use it.

coffee pretty stale, and the carafe didn't fit the coffee-maker. very limited tea selection. extremely awkward kitchen layout unless you are over 2 meters tall. Why only one soap for two bathrooms? Could have used a desk somewhere. Could not get the sound to work on the TV. The link to get my personal page for the property did not work so I had to call several times to get access to the room, the pool... never bothered with the TV

Nice pool ,you can walk to the city of canmore,not far to Banff,overall good location.

We don't have a parking pass for 3 nights and its hard to find the parking spot, and the bath tub so slow to drain.

The chalet has peaceful environment, complete functions and particular decorated.

Our stay was absolutely delightful! The house was spotlessly clean, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that truly felt like home. We were impressed by the attention to detail and the abundance of amenities provided. Everything we needed (and more!) was readily available. We especially enjoyed unwinding in the hot tub and swimming in the pool - a perfect way to relax and recharge

Checkout time feels early (11am). Consider noon for a more relaxed departure

Location and accommodation were amazing. Initial communication fantastic, though automated.

Issue with the parking pass, not communicated that it wouldn't be there due to previous guest taking it. Not communicated until asked. Added unnecessary stress to stay especially when suggested that we needed to park down the road. Was sorted, but anything that would distupt the check-in or stay should be communicated prior to arrival.
