Mystic Mountain Chalet, Heated Outdoor Pool & Hot Tub, Free Parking, Fast Wifi!

Nice location, easy access.

I booked this chalet for a special family birthday trip — and unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The listing clearly advertised a heated outdoor pool and hot tub, which were a major reason I chose this property over other more affordable options. I even received a welcome email confirming that these amenities were available. But when we arrived, both the pool and hot tub were completely closed — with no notice, no update, and no apology. We also requested a crib in advance, and although it was confirmed, it wasn’t in the unit the first night, which caused a lot of stress after an 8-hour drive with a baby. When I contacted the host afterward, they acknowledged the problem but only offered a small refund that didn’t reflect the real loss. I also contacted Booking.com and received no support. Despite reporting the issue, the listing still advertises the pool and hot tub as available, even though they were closed for renovations. This experience felt like false advertising and left me feeling misled and unsupported. I’ve filed a formal complaint with Consumer Protection Alberta because this wasn’t just a bad stay — it was dishonest. I would strongly caution others against booking here until the listing is updated and amenities are guaranteed.

The pool and the hot tub were closed…. Ww found out when we arrived, unfortunatelly the lamdlord didn’t inform us ahead and then when we wanted leave he didn’t want to refund it.

Very clean, spacious and walking distance to all amenities! Great price for what you get as well!

Had some trouble with the parking but the hosts were very good at taking care of it

There was a parking issue that still isn’t resolved, I was unable to check in my vehicle due to someone else’s license plate being registered and received two parking tickets. Also there was no indication that the pool would not be open and I had my grandkids very excited for that amenity. The email said it was closed until end of March, we went beginning of April and it was closed. But it’s a beautiful place and the staff were great to deal with!

Great location, well equipped kitchen, great layout with plenty of room.
