Romantic secluded Shepherd Hut Hares Rest

It was both romantic and secluded. Cake was really good and everything you need is in the cabin. We really enjoyed our stay.

The bed was a bit short. If you are taller then 1.90m you'll probably not fit.

Breakfast hamper provided with milk, eggs, loaf of bread, fruit juice as well as biscuits and a brilliant cake. Really thoughtful touches that we thoroughly enjoyed

Quiet location, good breakfast basket. Log burner. Nice bedding.

Some difficulty climbing in and out of bed over partner. No wifi.

Came for a short stay, Location was perfect for what we wanted, great communication from the hosts with any questions, the facilities were very clean and modern, also a lovely welcome package was supplied in the hut! Great value for money, Thank you

Great location and Shepherds Hut. Ruth and her husband were very welcoming. The hut is very clean and well set up. A hamper for breakfast is provided with local food. Fresh bread, eggs handmade cake, hame made jam & fresh local milk. Definitely a great setting for a runny egg sandwich for breakfast and cake and tea for the afternoon. The log burner really helps to keep the hut warm in the winter. Our first night we added some logs to keep the heat in during the night. Unfortunately it then made us too hot, so we had the windows open to cool down. We learnt the second night, not to add more wood befire bed. Local pub 25min walk through the fields.

Water boiler struggled with heating water, we put this down too the temperature outside being very cold.
