Kitsune Cottages

Cottage was warm and spacious - amenities great. All the little extras were so lovely and Patrick is a phenomenal host.

Everything you would want for a destination vacation. The unit is well stocked with the necessities. Very clean and comfortable beds. Super location to Echoland Main Street.

Excellent Cottage and Host. Cottage is spacious, clean and very well maintained. It has everything we need, get to cook, do our laundry, etc. Good locations too with lots of options. Excellent communications with the host, prompt replies and provided us with good information. Check with us on our plans for check in, check out so that he can assist us. Drove us to the supermarket for groceries shopping and send us to the bus terminal when we checked out. Helped us with the reservations for dinner too.

Rooms on level 2 was abit cold for us although there are heaters. However, the blankets are good and once you are settled in bed, it is warm. Hakuba is also a very cold place.

The cottage is very clean & well-equipped. Very close to the eateries & cafes.

The property has absolutely everything you could need. It was cosy warm with under floor heating and a fantastic drying room which meant ski stuff was warm and dry every morning. Patrick picked us up from the station and dropped us back at the end of your stay. He took us shopping for supplies and was super super helpful with EVERYTHING!

There was nothing that we did not like about the property

Couldn’t be happier with our stay! The facilities were clean and organized, perfect for our family to easily feel comfortable and get great sleep. The host, Patrick, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He was very responsive to messages which helped the day we arrived. He made sure our family had everything we needed including a crib and high chair. His knowledge of the area helped when we asked where to go for our kids to see snow. To top it off he mailed some of my wife’s irreplaceable jewelry she left behind. Saved our trip from potential disaster. What a legend! We loved the cottage and all Hakuba had to offer but the host definitely went well out of his way to take care of us.

Leaving

Our stay at Kitsune Cottages exceeded our expectations, we had a wonderful time. Prior to our arrival, Patrick provided helpful info about skiing at Hakuba, transport and restaurant options. He picked us up from the station, and even took us to the local supermarket every couple of days. The cottage is warm, spacious and has high quality furnishings and kitchen facilities. The location is in easy walking distance to the ski bus shuttle and restaurants in Echoland. I recommend Kitsune if you are heading to Hakuba!

Great house, clean and very responsive owner. No complaints whatsoever.
