Luxurious lodge, Woodlands View, Hot tub at Rudyard Lake, couples or small family

The view was very relaxing and peacefully only stayed for two nights , would love to book again

Owners arranged stay at very short notice Location was lovely and peaceful,right by the lake. Lodge was much bigger than expected and was clean, cosy and comfortable. Hot tub was wonderful. Local pub "The Lazy Trout" was a real gem.

One or two more basics e.g. salt/pepper, for those who wish to eat in. Maintenance for gas safety being carried out whilst we were in the property, felt a little intrusive. Owner advising he would empty hot tub late at night prior to our departure the following morning

Two things I’m afraid. 1. The mattresses on the single beds were very thin 2. I have a pacemaker and therefore I was unable to use the induction hob

Our second time visiting and it's such a lovely break away. We were very lucky with the weather so we could sit outside in the sun. It's incredibly clean, the garden is secure for our dog. It's got everything you could need. Can't wait to visit again.

It's a beautiful lodge! Everything is very clean and cosy, the beds were super comfortable. Great location right by the lake, we are already talking about booking up again and taking the kids this time as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

There was nothing we didn't like, just the facilities and pictures could do with an update on here. As it states there are bathrobes provided and BBQ facilities, we didn't have either of them so we were unable to use the instant BBQs we had brought. Also the pictures show the lodge has a wooden balcony and astroturf around an in ground hottub, it was not like that. It was a patio area.
