Buffalo Hills Private Game Reserve

Fully self catered with a large kitchen and plenty of equipment. Plenty of various seating spaces and a lovely view. Both indoor and outdoor fireplaces as well as a large braai area. A nice swimming pool area in an alcove. Rooms were clean and cosy with most having nice views too. Lovely spot to unwind in nature and relax with friends.

Some of the appliances in the main building tripped the power if used together, the main issue seemed to be running the oven together with any other high-ish power appliance like the dishwasher or microwave. The layout of the rooms worked well for us, but a detailed description of the layout and access to the rooms will be valuable for future guests as many of the rooms are inaccessible for elderly or less abled guests.

Rained -road very bad. Deep mud,very stressful to drive.

Loved the location and that there were enough beds to accommodate all our friends. There was a cozy fireplace stocked with wood. The beds were comfortable and the hike up the mountain was challenging but lots of fun!

There were not enough big bowls for salads or big pots. Some of the crockery needs to be replaced and there definitely needs some maintenance to be done on some of the doors. In spite of this, we managed and 8 ladies had lots of fun in the Fisherman's cottage.

Schitterende locatie, middenin de Drakensbergen met wildlife in de achtertuin. Ideaal als je even helemaal wil afkoppelen.

Het ligt wel heel afgelegen, zonder winkels of restaurants in de buurt. Volg goed de wegbeschrijving die je op voorhand krijgt.
