Sunset Lodge

Tim was incredibly helpful and a very hospitable host and so was Helen. It is in a very private location and if we had been fortunate with the weather we could have appreciated the wonderful views over looking Burgh Island. Accommodation was well equipped.

This place is a hidden gem after a challenging couple of years this is exactly what we wanted…peaceful, private and idyllic. The views were amazing!!! If you’re looking for a place to stay to relax and escape the world for a while then this is the place to be we will definitely be returning The lodge itself was comfortable and inviting and had everything we needed

There’s not much to do and the town is tiny…it’s a beautiful place full of little independent shops however we explored the town in 1 hour. There is a tourist information hub and they informed us of the farmers market so we got up super early and was very disappointed seeing only 6 stalls If you enjoy walking then this is perfect if your looking for exciting then I would not recommend

One of the best small cabins we've stayed in. Absolutely stunning views over Burgh Island with an easy walk to Bantham and the beach. Felt wonderfully isolated, with a large private decking area. Thoughtfully decorated with a very well equipped kitchen area.

Tim and Helen were so lovely and welcoming. I have been to bantham a lot but never stayed in sunset lodge. Location was great, really cosy, amazing view. Perfect for us to get away for a few nights.

View was spectacular. Cosy place to stay. Bed very comfortable. Kitchen fine. Welcome great. Location on site an adventure! Had everything we needed. Even though the weather was wild - high winds - we felt safe and secure in little residence.

Would have found a microwave useful. Easy chairs not that comfortable and placement a little awkward but not much space for other position we realise. Took a while to get warm. Had a cold shower one day.

Fantastic views. Sunset Lodge aptly named. Beautiful Sunsets and views of Burgh Island. Quiet, secluded and great place to just chill, walk or sit and read. Facilities all of good quality and all worked fine. Hosts nearby and available if needed (we didn’t need anything). All the facilities and views exactly as described in the listing. Hosts have thought carefully about the facilities – including a high table outside so one can enjoy the views when sitting outside.
