The property’s location was very private, your own little corner of the garden. The views from the garden are amazing! The cottage is close to Hawkshead (few minutes drive, about half an hour by foot). Everything you need is inside the cottage and more! We felt very welcomed by the amazing basket of the nice owners. Thanks!

The property is in a perfect location and was ideal for us for hiking. It had everything we needed, was spotless and the owners were very friendly and informative. We would definitely recommend and will be returning.

I personally didn’t mind this but others might - there is a peacock and chickens which are quite loud. But as I say this didn’t bother us at all.

There wasn’t anything not to like about the property.

Beautiful location , tucked away and private, but easily accessible to both mountains and towns . The cabin itself is thoughtfully equipped with everything you need, including a welcome hamper containing essentials and more. The cabin is exceptionally clean and well maintained, with homely touches that add to the comfort and enjoyment of ones stay. Our hosts were friendly, approachable and friendly . We will definitely be back

Perfect location secluded at the back of the main property. Lovely friendly hosts who are very helpful and acommodating. Very cosy little lodge with everything you need for a great self catering experience. Lovely main living area and combined kitchen with nice breakfast bar and windows all round to take in the beautiful views of the property grounds and beyond to the hills ,fields and mountains. Resident chickens visted every day and the peacock very lovely always wandering around the grounds.....very back to nature :-) Great bathroom with hot shower and even a wall heater. Lovely cosy main bedroom with lovely decor and lovely comfortable bed.

Only thing is that we couldn't get the terrestrial tv channels, only catch up tv, but this was maybe our fault or it just might not be possible to have this? A TV in the bedroom would be perfect if this was possible to have? Pack as light as possible as we took too much and quite a steep walk up to the property from the car parking.....but more than doable if you don't have mobility issues.

The remote and quite location, everything about it was just what we wanted.
