Good location, peaceful surround, amazing staff, fantastic pool, well kept grounds.

Tired looking, uncomfortable beds sadly, lumpy and soft, furniture could do with a refresh as tired and threadbare in places, windows had cobwebs.

This place is absolutely beautiful. Lovely welcoming staff. The Lodge is very well laid out spacious and very comfortable. The grounds are lovely to walk around. The swimming pool are is very good which we thoughly enjoyed with our family. Loved this place and hope to return again in the future

Beautiful location

Hot tub wasn't ready, en suite shower was blocked, kitchen utensils were still in dishwasher, cleaning standards poor, bedding for s0fa bed didn't have covers- really unhygienic, restaurant wasn't open despite being told it would be on arrival- had to then make last minute arrangements for food for children

The staff were exceptional , the home from home environment. Old fashioned charm Excellent food ,home sized portions. Cozy . Warm lodge ( Button )

Some tired areas, which would be easily fixed Kitchen needed a deep clean . Tv had intermittent signal

The area was very beautiful, and the cottage was nice.

There were some missing hygiene facilities like hand wash and shampoo. The extra blankets didn’t seem clean. The extra bed for additional guests wasn’t a sofa bed — the extra person had to sleep on the sofa, which wasn’t very comfortable.

We enjoyed the tucked away location with many attractions nearby. Our kids were excited about the log cabin and swimming pool in particular.

The lodge was well equipped with anything needed at hand. Generally clean but quite dated interior and decor. (Both lodge and public spaces) Small things I would change are the slightly mouldy shower curtain, missing remote for TV, soft mattress for the double bed. I am however picky here. Overall everything was functional and available or it was possible to work around ( like switching channels on the TV)
