The Kanuka Cabin

Everything perfect, was the highlight of our 3 week trip to New Zealand. Could live there forever :)

It was the perfect size for a wee remote stay Everything you needed was there, not too far away from shops. Perfectly remote. Would stay again.

There was nothing not to like, one thing could be maybe the top of the trees could be trimmed down to have a better view 😊

Perfect spot! - Wonderful views - Relaxing - Exceptionally clean - Hosts were welcoming and very helpful/responsive Would 100% recommend and wish we could have stayed for longer

Wow! This was the highlight of our NZ trip! All your log cabin dreams come true here. A cosy romantic escape and feels like you have a little piece of NZ to yourself! (But just a 15 min drive to town so easy access to all the fun!) The jacuzzi was a highlight sitting in there watching the stars. The outdoor shower is incredible! And if you feel the cold like me don’t worry they have a little heater in the inside toilet so you can run in there to dry off in the warm. Also fun that’s it’s on a farm - we got to see a sheep being born in one of the paddocks, and there are goats, deer and horses. Nice and warm in the bedroom, bed is super comfy, and loved the fresh nut selection to try!

Nothing we didn’t like! Just remember there is no TV, we had our laptop so just watched something on there if we needed. And in terms of kitchen facilities there is a microwave, jug and toaster. So if you were staying longer than 2 nights might get a little tough if you wanted to cook, but we just drove into town each night for dinner so no problem for us :)

We were on honeymoon and it was one of our favourite places in South island. Peaceful, tranquil and beautiful views. And oh so very quaint, loved it! Thank you

The location is amazing. The views are incredible. Definitely a fine weather place to say.

The whole location and vibe was great! The room is quite tiny but gives a nice cosy feel. The night sky view is stunning and a perfect element to having a nice warm spa bath on a chilly night.

Not so much what I didn't like but was disappointed as the milk in the fridge was out of date and the in room tea and coffee had not been replenished from a precipus stay. Just a minor thing. The closest food/coffee location is a 5-10 minute drive away.
