The Kanuka Cabin

Everything was perfect! The location, and view, are so quiet and private. The hot tub was excellent. Wish we could stay longer.

Trees were blocking the view.

We loved this place! Very magical setting and glorious with the hot tub and outdoor shower - which was piping hot. Also felt lovely to have the owners available if we needed them, but we didn’t - everything was there and they totally left us to it.

Instantly relaxing. Beautiful, peaceful outlook. The cabin is small and thoughtfully decorated. Shower is a stand out, great shower head that you don’t want to leave.

We loved everything about it.

We loved our stat in the Kanuka Cabin. It is a very charming cabin, with an amazing view and a perfect hot tub we enoyed stargazing at night from.

The space might be a little small for long term stays, we stayed 2 days only and enjoyed everything about the place.

Felt like a world away but only 10 mins from Wānaka. Absolutely relaxing.

The unit was open for us when we arrived and our hosts met us shortly after. They were very helpful offering recommendations and it was a pleasure just talking to them. The location and grounds were beautiful and we loved the unit itself. It was very clean and comfortable and very tastefully done and decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed using our own private hot tub on the patio and looking at the stars as we relaxed. We slept with the glass door open part of the night and enjoyed the feeling of being part of nature. The outdoor shower was hot and the beds were very comfortable. It just added to the beauty of Wanaka for us. We would love to return again and were just sad that we didn't have more time to enjoy such a well done little retreat.
