"Exceptional welcome - nothing too much trouble."

Very welcoming hosts with plenty of local advice. Lovely continental breakfasts. Availability of terraces and option to eat your own food in the garden.

Our room was quite small and the en-suite was tiny.

The owners added a personal touch to everything and went far beyond the duties of hosts. They provided a mini fridge and a microwave for every room, had cake for self service in the afternoon. We had access to blankets and pillows, so we decided to switch the duvet for a lighter blanket. Philipp told us about all his favourite places to visit and how to get there. We loved all of them! Both Philipp and Sophie linked in with us every day and had a chat with us, answering questions and giving recommendations. The comfortable sitting area outside with a nice view was another bonus. The room was cosy and bright with bay windows and a great view.

I cannot think of anything I did not like.

"Charming hosts in a delightful country house with a beautiful setting."

Location was great for my needs, the hosts were friendly and charming and the accommodation was spotlessly clean.

The shower was very weak. A small point which did not detract from my stay and I would have no hesitation in returning to Rodeen. Highly recommend.
