It’s in beautiful location run by a very professional, friendly and obliging couple. The property is impeccable with great views. There was nothing not to like about it. I think it was first BnB in which I stayed to supply freshly ground coffee and plunger in the rooms. A selections of Teas/Coffee and cake was also available in communal living room. Their Continental breakfast included freshly squeezed orange, a selection of cheese, meats, cereals and yogurt.

Philippe and Sophie were so very nice and helpful great breakfast and healthy helpful to plan some places to go the Beara Penninsula is absolutely beautiful and I recommend staying at Rodeen Country House

Quiet, clean, comfortable, well equipped and surrounded by a lovely garden. Self contained apartment within the main house. Hosts, Philippe and Sophie were so friendly, informative and fun. Philippe’s recommendations became the focus of our days- we wouldn’t have discovered the wonderful walks without his suggestions . This is so much more than a regular B and B. Breakfasts are lovely with lots of variety- home baking, great fresh coffee and honey from Philippe’s own Busy Bees !!

Lage : Ruhig, aber nah an Castletownbere mit vielen guten Restaurants, Supermarkt etc. Extrem aufmerksamer Gastgeber, der sich viel Zeit nimmt einem Tipps zu geben, um die versteckten Wanderwege/Sehenswürdigkeiten etc. nicht zu verpassen. Merci!! Frühstück. Vielfältig und frisch! Inkl. frisch gepresstem O.Saft! Ausserdem täglich Kuchen/Tee in der Lounge. Zimmer: nicht riesig, aber ausreichend. Mit Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle!

"Lovely stay. Also an interesting part of Ireland. So glad we drove down to Castletownbere."

Hospitality was exceptional. Philippe and Sophie were fabulous hosts going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable.

The bathroom was a bit small. The rest of the house and room were so comfortable that it didn’t really matter.
