"Stunning location with everything you need for a summer or winter break"

The location is stunning. We were there in early winter and the clouds across the mountains in the morning and the sunny afternoons - just perfect. We even braved the pool - which is a bit cool in November!

"A Gem!"

The view was stunning! The large deck had spaces to relax and eat and swim (in summer) or just to soak up the scenery. The chalet kitchen had everything you could possibly need and then some! The vaulted ceiling gave the impression of a large open-plan room, and it was light and airy, and yet cozy and homely. There were loads of books and games to play for a rainy day, and wood supplied for the indoor fire. Whilst quiet and peaceful with no neighbours on the beautiful nature reserve, Tulbach and Ceres were in close proximity for a morning visit and lunch. Two bedrooms en suite were perfect for our needs. I am recommending to friends.

A hot water bottle was supplied in each bedroom, but one night was very cold, and I missed my electric blanket!!

Beautiful, quirky property in gorgeous location, lovely pool

We should have bought food before we arrived - it's quite a distance into the nearest town - but that was entirely our fault

Fabulous position with perfect views and good walks. Well set up for self catering.

The windows were impossible to open and temperatures were up to 36C. The second bedroom needed a bedside light. The electric cord to some of the kitchen appliances did not work. Consequently we moved the toaster to the floor in the lounge and the kettle to next to the stove; not ideal.

"Lovely little break away in the middle of winter at a charming house in a beautiful location"

We really loved how peaceful and private the chalet was. The views were beautiful, the space felt comfortable and well thought out, and it was the perfect place to switch off and relax.

Honestly, nothing — we had a great stay.
