Got off to a great start on arrival with a relaxing drink in the Fox Inn, a fabulous country pub with a great atmosphere and exceptional staff. Our room was super, just what we needed for a few night's stay, comfortable bed, secure garden for our travelling dog, tea & coffee along with great facilities to prepare breakfast, very good shower room...all spotlessly clean. Dinner in the Fox Inn was a delight. Just the type of break we love, i would certainly recommend a stay at this property and can say we shall certainly be back.

Exceptional accommodation; would and hopefully will; stay again. The overall experience was unforgettable. Obviously; being winter, we were unable to use the enclosed garden facilities; but being able to see the wildlife; including deer and pheasant foraging in the adjacent field; in the early morning was an absolute bonus. The Fox Inn was wonderful, the hospitality and welcome, second to none. The young man went out of his way to find us a table at short notice; even though they were fully booked. The food was amazingly exceptional; 'to die for' quite honestly and my partner was happy to try the 'ales' on offer; including locally sourced; the cocktails were wonderful bonus for myself. Had we lived locally; The Fox Inn; would have become a regular destination to eat. I would not hesitate to recommend the accommodation to anyone; also to suggest they used The Fox Inn facilities for at least one meal during their stay. The owners and staff are lovely people; who quite honestly go out if their way to accommodate and offer help and contact numbers should you require them. All in all; a wonderful and memorable experience.

Parking; although available was difficult due to the popularity of the Fox Inn. However; as long as you are able bodied; that is no real detriment as you can park across the road or on the lane; traffic permitting.

Very well presented property with lovely garden with views. Ideal location for meeting up with family staying nearby. I did not get the opportunity to sample the food on offer at the pub but it looked very tempting. I thought the host coming to introduce herself was a nice touch and I would like to thank her and her team for a lovely stay.
