Starry Starry Night - Route 62

I have never felt more welcomed or spoilt when staying over at Starry Starry Night. So many little touches to make you feel comfortable and to ensure that you have everything that you need. Beautiful nights skies, stunning views, a fynbos garden of your own and such a comfortable, cozy cottage, not to mention the sweet water. I cannot recommend staying here more.

Attention to detail for entire stay, perfect level of isolation n peacefulness

What an amazing find! We spent a cozy winter weekend here and had a delightful time. The highlight was watching the stars from bed! The bed really is amazing - great-quality sheets and good bedding, and giant bath in the dome is super special! As someone who loves to cook, I appreciate all the thought that went into stocking the kitchen. I generally travel with a couple of kitchen items (like a proper knife and coffee maker), and I didn’t need to use any of my things! The place is beautiful and there is so much to do, we didn’t even get to half of it! We did take the short hike to the waterfall, which was lovely - the views here are really something else. But we’ll need to come back for more: we will return in a heartbeat!

I dont get to totally switch off often due to work, but being surrounded by the mountains with the sounds of nature and nothing else. It was minimalistic, which was totally awesome as it showed us how much we actually used and needed. The best part was the hike to the waterfall and taking a dip whilst looking down. Along with the kolkol on a nice sunny evening watching the sun go down.
