Starry Starry Night - Route 62

I loved the way it presents as a shack but is so well thought through. The privacy is also a great plus. Unspoiled views.

The only thing we missed was a bath. That would complete the experience for us.

It was so beautiful and peaceful! Perfect for getting away to enjoy the nature and beauty of South Africa

We loved everything about it and would highly recommend it to anyone who loves nature and solitude and just wants to relax in nature. We stayed in Gaia and the views of the stars at night from the Dome were next level. Beautiful walks and swimming in chrystal clear pools was an absolute bonus. Prosperity looked after us and she was wonderful.

There is nothing we did not like

A suggestion for an extra couch as there is only 1 couch for 4 people

Amazing views, location and well maintained hiking trails. Very comfortable and warm inside. Pet friendly which is great

The unit could maybe do with a carport. But otherwise a great place

We made the most of the private hiking trails and enjoyed a stunning sunset trail run. Highlights include waking up to THE MOST incredible sunrise and cooling off in the rock pools just a 1.3 km walk away. The loungers on the deck were perfect for star-gazing at night, and the bedding was exceptionally comfortable. Clear instructions were provided for the gas oven, with matches and a long lighter conveniently at hand. Thoughtful touches like the handwritten welcome note and complimentary homemade iced tea made us feel instantly at home. We also appreciated the free marshmallows and Tennis biscuits for making s’mores, along with the option to purchase extra snacks, drinks, wine, and firewood. 10/10 — we’d absolutely recommend it. Thank you, Starry Starry Night — we loved every minute of our stay!

Everything was perfect : ) The shower temperature fluctuates slightly depending on the available hot water, but that’s to be expected with the solar-powered setup — and we fully support the farm’s eco-friendly approach. It got piping hot again within a minute or so.

We loved the staff and the incredible attention and detail they put into everything. We love the silence and the setting of the pristine nature around. We loved the hiking routes, the natural rock pools, the luxurious amenities, the incredibly comfortable bed, the fact that we could bring our dogs and the magic of the hot tub, and favilities. Starty Starry Night is absolutely magical, it has been and will be our favourite place!
