Beautiful setting, clean room and a short walk away from a perfect beach!

There was quite a long wait for dinner, around 1h+. This seems to be because everything is cooked from scratch which is great but perhaps the menu could be shortened so the cook doesn’t have to try and make 15 different dishes. A good rice and curry would be all that is needed on the menu and much quicker.

The property was super cute and the hosts very nice, they welcomed us with tea and made us a lovely breakfast on the second day. The beach is very close and because the place is a little outside of Tangalle, you can see turtles and the milky way at night :)

Owned by a lovely Sri Lankan family and situated only couple minutes from the beach where baby turtles are released every evening at 6:30pm. Lovely clean and tidy rooms equipped with fans (AC not necessary as rooms are sheltered from the sun). The owners are extremely helpful and will organise transport and scooter hire at local rates. The food is exceptional and some of the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Would recommend to anyone wishing to visit the Tangalle area

I really enjoyed our stay here and totally recommend it! The cabanas are located in a quiet area along Tangalle beach, less than 5 minutes from this beautiful beach which is mostly deserted. You can still find a couple of nice bars on the beach, providing also free sunbeds with drink consumption. There are a few restaurants around that you can reach by foot. The best part of the cabana is for sure the outside area: there are comfy chairs and an amazing hammock, where you can enjoy the garden and the fresh air in the evening. I stayed 2 nigts in the small cabana and 1 night in the big one. The big one is definitely bigger, with a much more comfortable bed and newer bathroom and less warm, so if you are looking for comfort I recommend you to book that! The dinner was also delicious and with big portions.

Hosts were welcoming, the food was delicious, rooms were spacious and comfy. Outdoor area was looked after and filled with wildlife

We had a very comfortable stay at this accommodation. The host is extraordinarily nice. He even dropped us at the bus station and explained the best route for our upcoming journey. We would definitely recommend the Sri Lankan breakfast for 1600 LKR (It includes Dahl Curry, Chilli Sambol, a lot of hoppers, fried eggs a fruit plate and tea/coffee). The beach is very close (5 min walk). Swimming was only possible at the mangrove beach (20 min walking). A few minutes away from the accommodation you can visit a sea turtle hatchery. Around 6:30 pm they release some cute turtles (not everyday, ask the staff). Please don’t touch them or flash them with your camera flash light. All in all, if you can survive without an AC-System in the room, it’s a perfect place to enjoy the beaches of Tangalle for a few days.

For three persons the cabin is a bit small, e.g. they should adjust the number of chairs.
