Star Light Cabanas & Restaurant

Such an amazing place! Perfect for calming down and laying in the hammock all day. Also best people, best food!

I took a cooking class with a friend of mine. They put so much effort into it, organized everything and really showed us authentically how they cook. Definitely can recommend taking the class there, they even gave us a small booklet with the recipes. They were also flexible as to our wishes (eg just vegetarian curries). The food we cooked was amazing! Also the price for it was great in comparison to other places. Loveliest hosts u had during my two weeks in Sri Lanka!

Exceptional Cabanas and exceptional restaurant. We only stayed one night but it was extraordinary. The Cabanas are very spacios with a huge bed. Hyper comfortable. We also had the most powerful shower in Sri Lanka. On your terrasse are beach chairs and a hammock. All in all perfect. At night the gates are closed so that it is very safe as well. To top it all, we had a very good dinner there. Try the prawns and the Kottu -delicious and good value. I would not think twice of staying there again.

Quiet relaxing location in the green, close to turtle beach and beautiful beach restaurants .... Very good massage available in neighbourhoud ! ( Ayubowan massage). Nice kayak tour in lagoon ( birds ! varans...) ( 1500/ boat / all the morning)

For " early birds" : breakfast starts only at 8 a.m. .... Nothing to hang clothes inside the room

Super friendly and caring owners, they make you feel part of the family. Located just next to the turtle sanctuary where you can experience turtle hatching every day. The beach (not even 5 minutes walking distance) is amazing but unfortunately not recommended for swimming. Restaurants and shops are 10/15 minutes away by TukTuk. Our cabana was quite comfy and surrounded by nature.

Lovely little cabanas, which were very clean and felt new. Each has it's own outdoor terrace, seats and a hammock which were lovely to relax in. The hosts were very attentive, smiley and the food was really good. It is very close to the beach, turtle conservation sanctuary and quite remote which is lovely for relaxing. The sea can be quite rough, but there is a safer space to swim a 10 minute walk down the beach.

Amazing vibe, so close to the ocean, food was great and hosts are the kindest people on earth 💚 Will go back here for sure!!!

Quiet, in the middle of nature. You only hear birds and the see, it’s amazing. Really clean. Hosts are very friendly. He took me with his car to the bus station when I left because no tuc tuc could pick me. 😊

There is no much restaurants by there but you can always take a tuc tuc or eat at the hotel.
