Old Fire Station Backpackers

It was in a convenient location to the town and public transport. The beds where comfy, and there were plenty of cooking facilities within the hostel to cook from.

I had nonissue paying the deposit, but felt dubious paying cash. This was more like a party hostel, so it was very loud right into the night. And they use a microphone to speak to people in the hostel, which kinda felt like a prison, and constantly reminding guests to wash their dishes. They will also add on fines for things like not washing your dishes and many other things. It made me feel very uncomfortable and was not a chilled out place. The booking also states parking is possible, but the only parking available is for staff only, so this needs to be updated.

It was all good, location is great, facilities are good there’s really everything you need, the staff is cool too but special mention to Dan for being a legend!
