Lodge itself lovely, location lovely and hot tub was great will definitely be coming back.

"Relaxing environment, not much to do in area"

The hot tub, it was to a high standard, with the environment of ducks and trees

How close the cabins are close together, wasn’t a walk about bit and couldn’t see the lakes because other properties surrounding it. Didn’t give anything to clean the hot tub with, not much to do around the area and difficult to get into York with no car, said a bus stop near by however was 40mins away

"Beautiful location, stunning property, great comms"

Very easy to communicate with. Initially after booking, I enquired after the loan of a cot for our two year old. The initial response took a few days, but unfortunately, it was explained to me that the lodge was private, so travel cots were available adhoc. On this occasion they could not assist. My partner and I purchased (second hand thankfully) a travel cot. Only upon arrival for there to be a travel cot in the property - which was rather frustrating. The property itself was beautiful, exactly as photos portrayed and in a stunning location, the “locals” were incredibly friendly too. My only criticism, would be on cleanliness. We paid a high price for our two night stay, as we wanted somewhere special as it was my partners 40th. What was a niggle, was the visible layers of dust on the blinds, skirting and mould on the silicone in the shower. Did it deter us from booking again, absolutely not! Would I recommend a stay for other? Yes! A beautiful property and communications, lost booking, aside from the initial blip noted we’re exceptional. We extended our stay to a later booking, which was seamless. The team were in regular contact in the run up, in summary. Lovely stay, great comms, beautiful setting - just a few more moments on the clean and some bleach in shower cubicle and the rest would be fine. Thank you for a relaxing stay in a beautiful location!
