Foxglove Lodge with Hot Tub

lovely property, spacious and nice fixings

the showers were incredibly hot! to the point where you couldn’t properly shower. the wifi stopped working after about 3 hours of being there.

Beautiful lodge was immaculate inside far exceeded our expectations, beautiful living area and bedrooms had everything we needed, the beds were super comfortable, hot tub was amazing too just what we needed to relax. The site was so well maintained and friendly staff. The restaurant had great food both eat in and take away. Really happy with our stay.

The exterior decking area hadn’t been cleaned for a while I’d say had previous visitors bottle caps and bird muck everywhere including our first impressions into the lodge on the steps. Also the outdoor furniture we had to put our towels down before we could sit out. It’s really not a criticism as we would 100% stay again but if there are cleaners doing the inside amazingly it would have finished it off if the outside area was cleaned too.

lovely location, clean and well looked after site. couldn’t fault the lodge, beautifully decorated and lovely and cosy.

unfortunately despite the description stating no parties, we were next door to a lodge which was hosting a party of 8 - 10 people for the weekend. lots of alcohol, swearing and loud music meant we had no alternative but to leave the lodge a night early. i tried to call the emergency number provided but was unable to speak to anyone.

Extremely clean and spacious, we both enjoyed it thoroughly especially the hot tub which was beautiful.

A bit out of the way, but no complaints! We had a car so travelled to York for the day.
