Casa Terra Hostel

A real favorite for Casa Terra! It's a harmonious beauty, in the middle of nature. A peaceful haven where you can feel a gentle, luminous, and revitalizing energy. It's comfortable, clean and perfectly located. There’s a Soda restaurant and a grocery shop just around the corner. Beautiful walk or bike ride to the beach. It’s also perfect for runners! And what makes the experience truly unique are the people who work there. Warm, caring, always ready to offer a smile, a sincere exchange, a moment of sharing. Thank you to them for their genuine presence, which gives such a special soul to this place. I highly recommend it and I’ll definitely be back. Casa Terra is at the top of my list of 'Happy Places'!

That place is amazing. If you are looking for a more authentic Costa Rica vibe, it’s the place. You really feel connected with nature in the hostel. The trees around it is home to many animals, including monkeys, lizards, frogs, birds and lot of other. I stayed there 1 week and I felt that the hostel helped me to slow down. The owners are there from time to time and were super friendly. Finally, as the place isn’t so big, you really feel a community vibe with the hostel’s volunteers and the guest. I’ll come back!

The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Luis is amazing. He has a generous and kind soul. The hostel was very sociable and there was a very nice sharing dynamic. We cooked a lot of meals all together. There was a lot of spices to choose from as well as cooking oil which was very nice as most costa rica hostels dont offer this. The small common areas make it super propice to socialize with people. Nice clothing line to hang clothes. I felt like at home.

A bit far from town, but totally worth the walk as the hostel was in the nature with monkeys and lots of trees. Rooms are small, but cozy. The beds were a bit flimsy/not very stable when you moved around. The matress was however very comfy.

Andre and the volonteers really createt a place to easaly call home ☺️ i really loved the garden under the trees in the shade, watching the monkeys and iguanas and birds.

The volunteers and owners were so so kind and helpful, they went out of their way to make you feel at home. The atmosphere is so chill, it is super cozy, cleaned everyday, cheap laundry option, comfy beds, and the location is perfect: a small walk into the center and enough away to be quiet. I was laying in the hammock and the baby monkeys, iguanas, birds, and raccoons were living above me in the trees, it is an amazing place to experience Coata Rica. Muchas Gracias Casa Terra ❤️❤️❤️

I loved this hostel ! It looks like a little house that you share with nice people. The staff is very sympathic, just like the other hosts. The kitchen is well equiped. The bedrooms are comfortable. The location is good : a little but far from the center (10-15min by foot) but so also far from the noise. I saw a lot of iguanas around the house. I also appreciated the decoration of the hostel, very hostful. In conclusion, I really loved this place, I totally recommand, and if I come back to Samara I'll come back here for sure ! :)
