"Comfortable cozy stay, good quality for a camping barn."

9.0

I had a good stay. Excellent location, well served by public transport for those who don’t have a car, and close to great hikes all around. The bunk beds were very spacious and private, and only the lower beds were being used so I had a whole section to myself which was great! There’s a well-equipped kitchen with all you need to cook meals. There is a hot shower for which you need some 20p coins (it was 20p for 10 minutes of hot water). And best of all there was a cosy fireplace, which you could burn (new logs provided daily complementary) and which was a great highlight for me. Overall I think this is a great place to stay on a budget with good amenities in a great location.

Be aware there is no mobile reception in the barn, but there is if you just step outside, and no charging ports for phones inside the barn, only in the adjacent kitchen. These aren’t really problems but just to keep in mind.

"Practically perfect in every way!"

10.0

The property was perfect. We booked the camping barn as an alternative to camping so we didn’t have to worry about putting up tents and cooking equipment etc. it didn’t disappoint, the lady that greeted us was lovely, the bed was a dream after a day of walking, the Setting is beautiful and the pub 10 minutes walk away was the cherry on top!

"Great little barn meets the needs for a dry overnighter."

7.0

The location was beautiful but not easiest to find but manageable. Staff came out explained the dos and don'ts along with facilities available very helpful.

Trying to find the barn maybe a bigger board on road advertising the barn and guest house as a solution.

"Good, but..."

5.0

Great location with mountain views and friendly host.

No Internet connection. You have to pay £1 for shower each time, and that was not advertised. You have to pay £7 for logs if you want some heating. No sockets in the sleeping room to charge phone/powerbank, only in the kitchen (seperate room). Cleanliness requires improvements, even though it's a camping barn.
