The staff reception were wonderful. I spent a bunch of time chatting with them, and getting some useful tips on where to eat and places to check out. Rooms were reasonably clean on arrival, with the exception of many marks and grime on the walls, and a little mould in the shower. As it seemed to be the off season, I had the room mostly to myself for almost two weeks, until they had fully booked student accommodation. The location was great for wandering around, and many great events were held nearby while I was there.

Proximity to clubs in old town and festival spaces made it kind noisy to sleep at times, particularly when the only way to cool the room is to open the window. Cleaners do not clean regularly in the rooms, and had to be asked multiple times to empty trash and clean the bathrooms after almost two weeks of my stay, and one messy guest I had to share the room with. Cleaners could do a better job getting rid of dirty marks on the walls, and mould in the shower....and at least checking the rooms every two days to restock toilet paper or empty rubbish from bins. Rooms can get a bit hot in summer. Fans are available for rent, but should be free in summer heat.
